Job summary

Aerotek in Mesa, AZ is seeking a 2nd Shift Production or Assembler to join a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. You will assemble a wide range of parts for larger equipment, use hand and power tools, read blueprints with precision, and may operate fabrication machines.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of assembly experience in a manufacturing or mechanical setting.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.
• At least 2 years of construction or hands-on trade experience.
• Mechanical assembly or mechanic experience with components and systems.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints or technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts for larger equipment units in a manufacturing setting.
• Use hand and air-powered tools safely and effectively.
• Read tape measurements to ensure precise cuts and fits.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Assist with mechanical assembly, fitting, fastening, and aligning parts.
• Operate basic fabrication equipment as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
