Quanex is seeking an Assembler for the 2nd shift in Owatonna, Minnesota. The role involves assembling finished window hardware products for shipment to customers. Shift hours are Monday - Thursday from 3:30PM - 2:00AM.

Responsibilities include reading orders, verifying parts, inspecting components, and packing finished products. Training and minor machine adjustments may be required. Competitive pay with shift differential and benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing operations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal parts.
• Read order to verify parts are correct.
• Check the quality of components before assembling.
• Record daily individual or work center production quantity.
• Inspect the final assembled part.
• Assemble boxes for final packing of product.
• May assist in machine set-up as necessary.
• Assist in training department personnel with operations and procedures.
• May make minor adjustments to machines to keep them in working order.
