Job summary

New Flyer Group is seeking an Assembler - 2nd Shift in Shepherdsville, KY. The role involves performing high-quality installations and assemblies on coaches while maintaining a clean, safe work environment on a full-time, onsite basis.

The position requires reading blueprints, using hand and air tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular overtime may be necessary to meet production schedules; the company offers a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Knowledge of line installations, bench components, and assembly processes related to the assigned job classification.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and written instructions, and build components or assemblies according to those specifications.
Proficient with hand tools, air tools, and various other equipment required to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform repetitive movements, and work on elevated or confined spaces.
Must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods (up to 10+ hours).
