Job summary

Nordson Corporation's Nordson Product Assembly division in Georgia is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Assembler I to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble, test, and package industrial precision dispensing equipment, using hand tools and SAP for drawings and documentation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months in manufacturing, and a willingness to train on first shift before moving to second.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of work experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment in an assembly position.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of wiring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, tests, and packages industrial precision dispensing equipment in accordance with quality, productivity, and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Follows applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
• Use hand tools, general power tools, and calibrated power tools to facilitate equipment assembly.
• Use reference drawings and bills of material to ensure proper assembly of equipment.
• Report product failures to manufacturing engineer or supervisor.
• Use computers (SAP) to view reference drawings, generate production related documents, for other general tasks.
• Must be flexible and able to rotate to different work areas to respond appropriately to changing customer requirements.

The 2nd Shift Assembler I

Is responsible for assembly, testing, and packaging of industrial precision dispensing equipment. Duties will involve a variety of tasks but are not limited to those listed below. Must be ok with being in a contract role and training on 1st shift before moving to 2nd Shift.

Training Schedule - Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm.
2nd Shift Schedule - Monday through Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
