Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Commerce, GA, is seeking an Area Manager for our Distribution Center. You will oversee daily production plans and direct Associates to ensure work is completed accurately and safely.

This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with a focus on achieving performance goals, maintaining safety standards, and developing talent. The position operates on the 2nd shift and offers growth within a fast-paced discount retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; business management degree preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in a large distribution center or equivalent program.
• Ability to manage in a professional work environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong planning, teamwork, and communication skills; proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for all areas of the assigned department.
• Develop and maintain a team-oriented environment and orderliness.
• Deliver the daily production plan to Associates and meet performance goals.
• Ensure safety standards and facility maintenance compliance.
• Track incentives in Excel and coordinate with other managers.
• Interview, train, and coach Associates; handle coaching and discipline as needed.
• Accurately record associates’ hours in Kronos; perform other duties as assigned.
