Cal-Tex Electric is looking to hire Apprentice Electricians for 2nd Shift/Night Work! This position offers a competitive pay increase from our 1st shift Apprentices. We seek candidates with experience in commercial, residential, and industrial electrical work. Immediate availability is preferred.

Duties

1. Assist journeyman electricians with installing wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
2. Measure, cut, and bend conduit.
3. Troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment.
4. Read and interpret blueprints.
5. Set and wire electrical switchgear, panels, and equipment.
6. Learn and adhere to the National Electrical Code.
7. Follow safety protocols and procedures.
8. Learn from experienced Journeymen Electricians.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and drive for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.
