Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc. in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Lab Technician to support 2nd shift operations. You will perform functional testing on high-purity chemical products used in semiconductor manufacturing and record data in the LIMS system.

The role involves evaluating new test procedures, participating in gauge studies, and monitoring instruments via SPC while adhering to strict safety guidelines in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (Chemical Technology).
• 2-5 years of technical laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control is a plus but not necessary.
• Experience with trace metal instrumentation (ICP, GFAA) is a plus.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Highly organized and able to work in cross-functional teams.
• Post-offer drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on samples using SOPs in support of production, engineering and R&D.
• Accurately record all data into the LIMS system.
• Assist in transfer/evaluation of new products and test procedures via gauge studies.
• Monitor instruments through Statistical Process Control.
• Maintain safety guidelines and a clean, orderly environment.
