Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician – Industrial Electrical & PSM (2nd Shift) for a premier food manufacturing facility in the Greater Madison area. This 2nd shift, 100% on-site role emphasizes safety and a strong overtime structure while supporting critical ammonia systems.

The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot NH3 and electrical networks, and ensure compliance with PSM and OSHA standards, all within a collaborative, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on ammonia refrigeration experience in a manufacturing or processing facility.
• 2+ years of industrial electrical diagnostics and power distribution troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work a permanent 2nd shift (Mon–Fri) and be on-site with no travel required.
• Stable work history and ability to commute within a daily 45-minute radius of Greater Madison, WI.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident (Green Card).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, fault tracing, and emergency repairs on NH3 refrigeration loops and equipment.
• Troubleshoot high-voltage electrical networks, MCCs, and control panels safely.
• Ensure compliance with PSM, RMP, and OSHA safety protocols in daily operations.
• Support plant operations to maintain uninterrupted 2nd shift production.
• Maintain digital logs and write accurate work orders in the CMMS system.
