Applicants should understand temperatures, tonnage, alloys, lubrication, tolerances, and be capable of maintaining safety while monitoring presses and furnaces. High school diploma or GED preferred; heavy machinery experience a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous forging or heavy machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work safely in high-heat environments.

Aufgaben

• Follow work instructions to produce parts.
• Verify material and dimensions per specifications.
• Set up Maxi and Screw presses.
• Set up and remove different dies.
• Perform checks on die and bolster plate bolts.
• Understand press settings and troubleshoot when necessary.
• Monitor forge furnace temperatures and slug heating.
• Complete visual inspections and production paperwork.
