The ideal candidate has 2+ years of forging/press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and proven leadership to direct a forge crew.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with forging temperatures, metallurgy, and basic machining.

Responsibilities

• Lead forge crew in straightening, forging, and heat treating operations.
• Operate forging equipment and manipulators to shape and move metal.
• Read blueprints and work orders to guide production.
• Heat, load and unload material into furnaces; track material IDs.
• Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with departments to meet production goals.
