Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Processing Associate to join our Fullerton, CA team. You will apply coatings, operate sandblasting equipment, and prepare parts for finishing by following detailed work instructions to ensure defect-free aerospace finishes.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and specs, inspecting finished parts for quality, maintaining tools and safety, and completing production logs as required. Join a team committed to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred.
• Must follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail; detect surface imperfections.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for coatings, chemicals, and protective equipment.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings and paints to aerospace parts using spray equipment or manual techniques.
• Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for coating.
• Prepare parts for finishing by masking/unmasking per instructions.
• Ensure uniform, defect-free finishes per process guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specs to determine finishing requirements.
