Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Sumner, WA is hiring an Assembler I for the 2nd shift to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will work on a moving line, perform finish assembly on composite products, and follow takt-time directions to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Fine hand motor skills and attention to detail.
• Able to read work instructions and use small hand tools.
• Effective communication in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
• Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
• Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
• May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
