• Provide hands‑on personal care support to individuals with mental illness.
• Assist with cognitive, physical, emotional, and social skill‑building to help them become as independent as possible in the community.
• Support completion of activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, cleaning, laundry, shopping, transportation, and recreational, educational, or vocational pursuits.
• Assist in administering medications and other duties as trained.
• Gain experience that may lead to supervisory responsibilities.
