Job summary

AIDA Cruises is looking for a Second Engineer to manage the engineering watch and ensure preventive maintenance aboard our innovative cruise ships. You will be responsible for enforcing health and safety rules and conducting training within the engine department.

The ideal candidate holds a national second engineer certificate and has experience on cruise vessels. Enjoy a unique working environment while traveling the world and taking your career to new heights!

Qualifications

• At least 2 contracts in a similar position on board (cruise vessels preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering watch if assigned as watch keeper.
• Organize preventive maintenance of technical equipment.
• Enforce health care, occupational safety, and fire protection rules.
• Perform maintenance as required by PMS for the assigned sub-department.

National second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited)
