Qualifications

• Basic math and languages skills required.
• 2+ years in Industrial Structural Fitting.
• 1-2 years related experience or training.
• Tack welding ability.
• Familiarity with flux-core welding techniques.
• Some vocational technical training is desired.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to fit, cut, and weld structural steel.
• Cut, fit, tack weld large components to tolerance.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding with torch/plasma/grinders.
• Install hangers, supports, and braces from fabrication to completion.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
• Document quality reporting per SEA standards.
• Follow OSHA PPE and safety requirements.
• Assist ISO 9001 audits.
