Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Tipton, MO is seeking a physically capable fabrication helper to support welding, grinding, and fabrications. You will operate forklifts and skid steers, assist with CNC plasma cutting, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires stamina, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions. Prior related experience is preferred but not required; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work with minimal supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.

• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with sheet metal and carpentry is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and skid steers.
• Assist with CNC plasma cutting machines and welding/fabrication tasks.
• Grind weld seams to a smooth finish.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; manage tools and supplies.
• Complete safety checks on systems and equipment and follow PPE requirements.
• Transport raw and fabricated materials as needed.

Job description

This position is eligible for a 15% shift differential.Purpose of the RoleResponsible for performing a variety of physical tasks and manual duties set out by the supervisor. The position includes grinding weld seams to a smooth shape/finish, assisting with CNC plasma cutting machines as well as other duties required for the welding and fabrication process. The candidate must be in good physical shape to perform a wide variety of tasks that require stamina, focus and attention to detail.
