Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a fabrication-focused professional to contribute to multiple structural projects on site. You will read and interpret construction drawings, prepare and mark up as-built plans, and handle steel materials including beams and channels daily.

The role requires experience or willingness to obtain welding certification, plus proficiency with basic carpentry and equipment operation. Safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Fabrication experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain welding certification provided by company.
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Able to learn basic computer skills to communicate via email, document daily work and progress, and track procurements and status.
• Always attentive to detail and safety.
• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Everyday handling of structural material (steel beams, channel, square tubing, etc.).
• Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications; marks up with as-built status.
• Sand blast & paint structural steel material.
• Install G-Rib metal & trim.
• Install Snaplock metal & trim.
• Operate crane, scissor lift, and forklift.
• Capable to use everyday construction tools (tape measure, square, level, etc.).
• Works in conjunction with other crews and lead people.
• Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.
• Performs all duties and tasks as assigned.
• Follows safety protocols and standardized processes to ensure workplace safety and product reliability.
