Job summary

Quanex is seeking Production Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Cambridge, OH. The role involves setting up equipment, running production lines with a focus on quality and minimal scrap, and adhering to safety procedures.

Open interviews occur on select Tuesdays and Thursdays; the Cambridge facility address is 800 Cochran Avenue. The position offers an hourly wage starting at $18 with a $1 shift differential, plus benefits including 401K, ESPP, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely.
• Produce and use Material Identification labels.
• Identify quality material prior to packaging.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; notify supervisor of safety issues.
• Attend work on time for scheduled hours.
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in 5S standards.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating with co-workers.
