Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. in Cambridge, Ohio is hiring a Mixing Operator II for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10pm–6am). The on-site, full-time role weighs raw materials and adds them to the mixer per the recipe, with careful batch documentation to ensure quality control.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs on an infrequent basis.
• Extended standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing for shifts.
• 8–12 hour shifts or weekends as needed to meet demand.

Responsibilities

• Input/Scan raw materials for batching.
• Follow batch card and JQTL instructions as written.
• Properly collect, package, and label samples for testing or retention.
• Document batch records and label containers and finished goods.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate equipment to ensure data accuracy.
• Perform changeovers and end-of-run cleanouts.
• Cross-train on multiple mixers in the butyl work cell.
