Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support downstream packaging and materials handling in our plant environment. The role includes operating and maintaining automated packaging lines, performing quality checks, and assisting with changeovers and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

The position emphasizes safety, food safety compliance, and adherence to GMP while supporting production goals and team collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; military service counts.
• Experience with packaging equipment and quality testing preferred.
• Ability to read policies, follow safety rules and operate under GMP.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain downstream packaging equipment.
• Replenish raw materials on automated packaging lines.
• Respond to stoppages, troubleshoot, clear jams, and clean equipment.
• Perform line changeovers and assist with primary packaging changeovers.
• Conduct quality checks on secondary packages (lot codes, aesthetics).
• Assist with quality checks on primary packages (lot codes, aesthetics, seal integrity).
• Monitor palletizing output and clear jams; operate supersack loading station.
• Adhere to safety standards and support food safety programs.
• Document quality measures and follow GMP and product specs.
