Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Machine Operator L to operate automated packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will inspect, calibrate, and document production data while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience with packaging machinery, quality testing, and working in regulated food manufacturing environments. The role supports shift-based production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, US military service or equivalent.
• Experience operating manual and automated packaging equipment.
• Experience performing quality tests with analytical tools.
• Prior work in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and maintain primary and secondary automated packaging equipment.
• Calibrate and validate quality testing equipment and perform testing per specs.
• Record production data and monitor package quality using analytical tools.
• Train new machine techs or operators on procedures when needed.
• Collaborate on product and equipment changeovers and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support food safety, legality, and quality programs and follow GMPs.
