The Kraft Heinz Company Kendallville plant is seeking a diligent Machine Operator to join our production team. You will set up, start up, and changeover equipment, monitor line performance, and document downtime and quality checks to ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Basic mathematical ability used on the line.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in dusty, starch-containing environments.
• Exposure to hot and humid production areas.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing/food processing, hygiene, and safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
• Accurately maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Perform sanitation duties for production and periodic sanitation work as assigned.
• Responsible for conducting and accurately documenting quality checks.
• Communicate any process or product abnormalities to Supervisor/Team Leader/Line Technician.
• Coordinate with previous and next shifts regarding concerns or watch outs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
