Job summary

Kraft Heinz Kendallville Plant is seeking a Machine Operator to support production across two shifts in Kendallville, Indiana. The role involves setting up, starting, and changing over equipment to keep lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting line performance, recording downtime, performing sanitation, and conducting quality checks. Able to lift 50 pounds and work in dust and humid conditions. Competitive pay and strong benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing and safety is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in hot and humid conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
• Accurately maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Perform sanitation duties for production and periodic sanitation work as assigned.
• Responsible for conducting and accurately documenting quality checks.
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician.
• Responsible for communicating with previous and next shift regarding any concerns or watch outs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
