Job summary

Envalior in Evansville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support 2nd or 3rd shift and ensure reliable operation of state-of-the-art production equipment. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will read schematics, work with pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other rotating machinery, and adhere to safety policies. Excellent English communication and a willingness to work the 2nd shift are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar mechanical role.
• Technical education or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or related fields preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other rotating machinery.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with welding, rigging, and safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Basic computer skills for work order management and communication.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively on the 2nd shift schedule.
• Must reside within daily commuting distance of the Evansville, Indiana facility.
