Job summary

Envalior GmbH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our Evansville, Indiana facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial maintenance, focusing on equipment reliability and support for continuous improvement. This full-time position on the 2nd shift entails troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical systems including pumps and conveyors. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 2nd Shift at our Evansville, Indiana facility. At Envalior, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and optimizing the operation of our state‑of‑the‑art production equipment in a fast‑paced environment.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, contributing to Envalior's mission of delivering innovative, high‑performance materials.

Shift hours: Approximately 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar mechanical mechanic role.
• Technical education or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or related fields preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other rotating machinery.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with welding, rigging, and safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Basic computer skills for work order management and communication.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively on the 2nd shift schedule.
• Must reside within daily commuting distance of the Evansville, Indiana facility.
