  • Knowledge of passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience implementing sourcing strategies and process improvements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an Applicant Tracking System.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a matrixed organization; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience with internet sourcing and recruiting practices.

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Talent Acquisition team in the role of Talent Acquisition Consultant - Intermediate.

This role manages a high ‑ volume, fast ‑ moving requisition load, requiring strong prioritization and consistent communication to keep candidates and hiring leaders aligned. The consultant ensures an exceptional candidate experience while advancing qualified talent efficiently in a high ‑ demand environment.

This role partners with customers as assigned to provide talent acquisition support. The consultant manages a comprehensive recruiting process, which includes posting positions, reviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, candidate selections, pre‑hire preparation, and ensuring successful arrivals on first dates of employment. They apply basic total rewards strategies to ensure the compensation package is market competitive for the position, aligns with customer expectations, and aligns with candidate skills and abilities. Finally, this position assists with workforce planning analysis to ensure the right recruiting strategies are in place and executed effectively, guides leaders in selecting the best talent, and provides other project management support as requested by their leader, particularly surrounding passive candidate sourcing strategies.

Shift: Full‑time day shift role working Monday‑Friday in a hybrid capacity with some on‑site expectations at our Downtown Indianapolis office as needed.

Applies basic project management principles, and applies logical, consistent and organized standard of work practices. Leverages recruiting best practices, aligned with total rewards philosophy, to ensure most qualified applicants are sourced and presented to leaders, and best final candidate selections are made. Tracks and reports key talent management metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Requires knowledge of compensation structures and experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires.
  • Requires a knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Requires knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Requires demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies and process improvement initiatives.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an applicant tracking system.
  • Requires 3‑5 years of relevant experience within a matrixed organization; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Requires experience with internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
