Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a part-time Specialist Radiographer to perform mammographic examinations and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for breast screening in the SBSP South East Division. You will work under a Specialist Radiographer, ensuring patient care and QA processes are maintained.

The role involves coordinating routine screening sessions and delivering health education to attendees, with pro-rata salary due to part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Specialist Radiographer, perform Mammographic examinations.
• Provide direct care and a high-quality diagnostic imaging service to support the population eligible for breast screening.
• Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality breast imaging service within the SBSP South East Division.
• Provide the day-to-day organisation of the routine screening sessions and related Quality Assurance tests whilst working under the guidance of a Specialist Radiographer.
• Responsible for Health Education provision to the clients attending for screening.

Provide the day-to-day organisation of the routine screening sessions and related Quality Assurance tests whilst working under the guidance of a Specialist Radiographer.

Responsible for Health Education provision to the clients attending for screening.
