Job summary

Wilson Bank and Trust is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Digital Payments to lead a dynamic team. The role oversees the Digital Payments Department, drives innovation, ensures regulatory compliance, and improves banking processes across ACH, wire transfers, instant payments, debit/credit cards, and online/mobile platforms.

You will mentor staff, manage procedures, and partner with leadership to deliver reliable payments services and customer support.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in electronic banking including online banking, ACH, wire transfers, instant payments, etc.
• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance, audit standards and risk management related to digital payments

Digital Payments Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager of Digital Payments provides oversight for all aspects of the Digital Payments Department. This position encourages innovation, efficiency and growth within the team to improve banking processes, manage compliance, and inspire excellence. The Assistant Manager of Digital Payments supports management, team members, and customers with expertise in commercial payment rails such as ACH, remote deposit capture, wire transfers, and instant payments, as well as services such as debit cards, credit cards, online/mobile banking and other digital banking functions. This position reports to the Digital Payments Manager and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the Digital Payments team, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented culture
• Provide oversight for all aspects of the Digital Payments Department, including procedures, product development, and regulatory compliance
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff. Identify professional development opportunities and provide performance feedback on an ongoing basis.
• Encourage innovation, efficiency and growth within the team to improve banking processes, manage compliance and inspire excellence

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• 3 years of experience in electronic banking to include online banking, ACH, ATM/debit card, debit card disputes, credit cards, wire transfers, instant payments, etc.
• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, audit standards and risk management relevant to digital payments preferred
