Job summary

Big Horn County School District 3 is seeking a Custodian for a 260-day position with full benefits. The role involves cleaning, maintenance, and grounds tasks across district facilities, under supervision of the Director of Facilities.

The responsibilities include securing buildings, cleaning all areas, handling deliveries, and supporting events. Requires basic maintenance skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Wyoming Driver's license or ability to provide transportation.
• Experience in building maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure the building at the start and end of the shift to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Clean rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas according to district standards.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstery and blinds.
• Remove graffiti and clean glass areas; set up and break down furniture for meetings.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds-keeping; receive deliveries and move supplies to classrooms.
