26‑27 AY Temporary Faculty Pool – CalStateTEACH. Instructional faculty – Temporary/Lecturer. Location: Central California, Fresno. Part‑time, undergraduate teaching within the CalStateTEACH Multi‑Subject Teacher Preparation Program.
Interview candidates for program admission; advise and support candidates through the credential program; develop and sustain a cohort learning community; guide online learning and provide formative/summative assessment of classroom performance; oversee field placements and supervise classroom instruction; liaise with school‑site personnel and mentor teachers; support candidates preparing for the CSET; participate in regional seminars; facilitate cohort meetings on Saturday seminars.
Attend regular regional and statewide faculty meetings, serve on committees, contribute to curriculum development, maintain knowledge of CalTPA Tasks and CalStateTEACH curriculum and policies, and stay current with educational technology.
Conduct recruitment and outreach, including job fairs and professional conferences; collaborate with local school districts on clinical placement options; participate in county and educational consortium meetings.
Selected candidates are hired as lecturers by the CSU campus associated with the Regional Center, placed on the CSU faculty salary schedule, class code 2458 for Academic Year Lecturers.
Monthly: $5,507–$6,677 for a Master’s‑degree holder when teaching full time (15 WTUs). Salaries adjusted based on WTUs assigned per term.
Temporary faculty must adhere to university and system‑wide policies, prepare, deliver, and grade coursework, and conduct all classes as scheduled in the assigned mode (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).
Appointments are contingent on budget and enrollment. Order-of‑assignment provisions offer priority to senior faculty; eligibility to work in the United States is required.
