Job summary

NHS Dumfries & Galloway is seeking a Software Systems Designer & Developer to join the Applications & Development Team. You will design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations that underpin healthcare delivery across the region.

You’ll work on clinicians’, managers’ and suppliers’ systems, handling a diverse portfolio from patient-facing apps to integration platforms, supporting digital transformation and improved patient care.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software solutions and system integrations.

This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations that underpin the delivery of healthcare services across the region.

You'll work on a diverse portfolio of clinical and corporate systems, supporting everything from patient-facing applications and clinical systems to integration platforms and reporting solutions. The role involves software development, systems integration, database administration, project delivery, supplier engagement, and supporting the ongoing digital transformation of NHS services.
