Job summary

Leidos is seeking a System Administrator to support the Naval Enterprise Network (NEN) infrastructure, including virtualized data centers, cybersecurity services, and network operations. The role involves patching, incident response, root‑cause analysis, and pass‑down of issues to Government representatives.

Ideal candidates will hold a related degree, a DoD Secret Clearance, and DoD 8570.01‑M IAT II and Security+ CE certifications, with hands‑on DoD network experience and a willingness for 24/7

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Systems, Information Security, IT, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570.01‑M: Information Assurance Manager (IAT) II, (CompTIA) Security+CE.
• Hands‑on experience working with DoD networks, including NIPR, SIPR.
• Ability to provide 24x7 on‑call support.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and resolving issues associated with day‑to‑day system operation activities of IT hardware and operating systems.
• Ensure effective and efficient operation of data center systems, architecture, and application availability.
• Take escalations from the monitoring team and ensure systems are functioning properly and conform to operational security policies and procedures.
• Analyze system alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts. Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution.
• Follow standards, procedures, and processes for Enterprise Operations.
• Work with Data Center Design to plan and support the implementation of new technologies.
