Job summary

ASM Research is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support the Production, Scheduling and Controls Team, currently hosted under a DISA environment. The PS&C Team provides 24x7 job scheduling and monitoring using BMC Control-M and will optimize schedules across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing job schedules, assisting with system backups, triage of incidents, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to maintain government clearance or investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for the Production, Scheduling and Controls Team.
• Monitor and analyze job schedules and consult with staff to optimize schedules.
• Support enterprise scheduling and analysis utilizing BMC Control-M.
• Monitor and resolve IT system issues with minimal supervision.
• Create and maintain system documentation and recovery procedures.
