Job summary

Tuknik Government Services, LLC seeks a Master Scheduling Coordinator in Durham, NC to support the Scheduling Control Team at a 24/7 central computer center. The role focuses on mainframe batch production monitoring, data exchange, and emergency processing with BRPS/UCD integration.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with z/OS/ISPF, Control-M scheduling, JCL, and related tools, and be prepared for a telework-ready but onsite work environment during contingencies and weather events.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCs running Windows, MS Office, and mainframe ops (TSO/ISPF).
• Familiarity with z/OS, MVS, JES3, CICS, OPS/MVS, JCL, DB2, TCP/IP.
• Experience with Control-M scheduling and data-exchange tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch workloads on z/OS and distributed platforms for data exchange tasks.
• Process batch job requests via MS/PRS and manage emergencies with BRPS/UCD.
• Notify POC of abnormal ends and review performance data for improvements.
• Edit JCL, perform restarts/recoveries, and coordinate with development teams.
