Job summary

Quarterhill Inc. in Frisco, TX seeks an Operations Support Specialist to provide operational and technical support for tolling technology, lane controllers, and ITS products nationwide.

You’ll monitor systems, troubleshoot hardware/software, manage incidents in ServiceNow, and coordinate escalations with field teams. The role requires collaboration with IT and customer teams, participation in a 24/7/365 rotation, and strong communication skills to ensure system availability and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in customer service, technical support, or IT-related fields.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows server installation/configuration is a plus.
• Knowledge base article creation and documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support to internal and external customers.
• Handle incidents and support requests from multiple channels.
• Manage SLAs through ServiceNow to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Communicate incident updates, outages, and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues and escalate when needed.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the work management system.
• Support installation, testing, and validation of new hardware/software.
• Participate in 24/7/365 on-call rotation and incident response.
