Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is seeking a skilled supervisor for a 24/7 Operations Center in Manassas, VA. The role oversees transmission and distribution system operations, coordinating emergency responses and ensuring high reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical engineering or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five to seven years of related experience.
• Experience in operation of transmission and distribution systems and related equipment strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitors system service reliability and implements plans for improvement.
• Coordinates response to emergency requests involving NOVEC facilities.
• Reviews trouble call reports, job orders, and documentation for proper completion and reporting.
• Leads and develops team, ensuring policy compliance and performance management.
• Supervises switching activities for service restoration and load transfer.
