Job summary

The Bizzell Group seeks a security professional for a 24/7 operation at the Center. Duties include enforcing laws, patrolling, and coordinating safety programs, while supervising cadets and assisting staff in maintaining a secure environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of related security experience, and a driver’s license. Training and responsible conduct are emphasized in a collaborative, student-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of security, law enforcement, military, or related experience.
• Safety-related training is preferred.
• At least one year in a residential living setting and a background in youth programs are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building security and safety checks.
• Provide transportation service as needed.
• Investigate vehicle accidents at the Center.
• Issue visitor passes and temporary parking permits.
• Assist staff in quelling disturbances.
• Prepare written accident reports and other reports.
• Participate in preparation and enforcement of safety and fire prevention program.
• Perform daily briefings with security cadets.
