Job summary

LifeSkills Connections Inc. is seeking a security professional to plan, develop, implement, and oversee safety and security programs for the Center.

You will conduct foot patrols, monitor for disturbances and hazards, assist visitors and staff, perform safety checks, and prepare reports. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred), two years in security or related fields, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work all shifts in a 24/7 operation;

Qualifications

• Two years security, law enforcement, military, or related experience.
• Safety related training preferred.
• Associates Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, oversee, and integrate safety and security programs for the Center.
• Foot patrols assigned areas, monitor disturbances, fires, hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Assist visitors, students and staff; perform safety checks and prepare written reports.
• Coordinate recruiting, selecting, and training of security cadets.
• Enforce Center safety and fire prevention programs; brief security cadets daily.
• Provide reports and maintain equipment and vehicle checks.
