Job summary

Children’s Rescue Fund is seeking a Safety Monitor (Cauldwell) to oversee all activities in the facility, ensure civility among residents, visitors, and staff, and control access 24/7. The role requires guarding the site, reporting hazards, and maintaining orderly daily operations in Bronx, NY.

The position is full-time and requires security licenses, CPR/First Aid certification, and flexibility to rotate shifts.

Qualifications

Two years’ experience in commercial and/or residential security services.
Active New York State Security Guard License.
Fire Guard (F02) License.
Background investigation required.
Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures that the Safety Supervisors orders of the shift are followed.
Performs Detex patrols on a half hour basis and conducts the patrols.
Communicates all pertinent information to the Safety Supervisor.
Ensures all entries are made and accurate in the security desk logbook.
Obtain client signatures to complete Daily Attendance Roster.
Maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Must be rotated shifts as needed by Director of Operations discretion.
Complete CARES incident reports as needed.
Adhere to the Agency dress code for Safety personnel and maintain a professional appearance.
Drive the facility van when required.
Must maintain valid NYS Security License.
Must be available for overtime when business needs are required.
