Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a Production Operator in a 24/7 Sacramento facility. You will operate manufacturing equipment, prepare materials, perform tooling changes, and maintain accurate production records. Adherence to safety procedures and environmental permits is essential.

Responsibilities include shift handovers, labeling, and documentation, with training provided. The role requires ability to lift and handle materials and wear full PPE as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or related fields preferred.
• Ability to learn carbon fiber production processes.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials.
• Ability to read work instructions and communicate in writing.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in Chop, Production and Prepping areas per procedures.
• Document and label finished products, materials, and chemicals.
• Complete production records and shift handovers.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Participate in training and competency assessments.
• Perform daily inspections and report abnormalities.
