Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites, Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance activities in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. You will plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, while ensuring safety and reliability of critical equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates/technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading maintenance teams or trades personnel.
• Must be able to wear full-face respirators and SCBAs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and safety requirements.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance personnel, set expectations, and provide feedback.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate downtime with Production and Engineering to minimize disruption.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and exercise stop-work authority when needed.
• Document work orders, logs, and maintenance histories in CMMS; track KPIs.
• Provide technical direction during troubleshooting and critical maintenance activities.
• Coach and develop maintenance staff; ensure training for safety and processes.
• Maintain communication with leadership, shifts, and cross-functional partners.
