Job summary

Capstone Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee facility maintenance, renovations, and repairs. The role is on-call for emergencies 24/7, with duties ranging from daily upkeep to vendors turnover and safety compliance.

You will respond to resident requests within 24 hours, manage tools and inventory, and ensure professional standards while adhering to OSHA policies. The position requires high school completion; HVAC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Maintain property buildings and grounds daily.
• Manage tools, supplies and equipment inventory.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Operate in compliance with OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Maintain a project log of site maintenance.
• Assist with turnover periods to ensure high quality work by vendors.
• Monitor sidewalks during snow season to prevent ice buildup.
• Perform general repairs including painting, plumbing, minor electrical, and appliance repairs.
