Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN is seeking a Materials Management Manager to lead day-to-day inventory, fulfillment, and storage operations for our data center materials. You will manage multi-level teams across four shift patterns in a 24/7 operation, driving continuous improvement, cost reductions, and adherence to AS9100 and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years in material/production planning, purchasing, distribution, or supply chain.
• O r bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in the same fields.
• 9+ years total experience in related roles.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• Experience in aerospace/aviation or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Review timecard compliance, scheduling, reviews, and training of direct reports.
• Support fulfillment, distribution and storage center targets and objectives.
• Develop strategy, metrics, and goals to guide the organization.
• Manage a multi-level organization across 4 shift patterns for 24/7 operations.
• Lead by example, provide feedback, and address issues with corrective actions.
• Monitor safety to achieve zero OSHA recordables annually.
• Ensure storage and quality per AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Oversee incoming receipt, storage, and issuance of parts and hardware.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and FIFO shelf-life controls.
• Adapt to changing business needs and mentor workforce.
