Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites (MCCFC) is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and facility support for manufacturing equipment, utilities, buildings, and infrastructure systems while supporting safe and reliable plant operations.

The role covers maintenance planning, blueprints interpretation, and coordination of process changes to meet AS9100/ISO9001 protocols, with emphasis on safety and compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years of industrial machinery and maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, fabrication, welding, troubleshooting, and code compliance knowledge.
• Experience with manufacturing is required.
• Chemical or converting industry experience is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and use PPE, Lock out/Tag out, Confined Space, and Hot Work procedures.
• Plan and assist maintenance work; support planned/breakdown maintenance of the production plant.
• Read blueprints and specifications; select materials/equipment/tools; operate shop equipment and measure with testing instruments.
• Coordinate process modifications per AS9100 and ISO9001 change protocols.
• Maintain permits and ensure compliance with building, electrical, sprinkler, fire, and plumbing codes.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, electrical systems, piping, and utilities.
• Document daily/weekly/monthly maintenance records; develop work orders; guide maintenance crew.
• Notify management immediately of unsafe conditions.
