Job summary

Amazon Dev Center India - Hyderabad is seeking a Transportation Operations Center (TOC) Trans Ops Specialist. The role focuses on facilitating information flow among Carriers, Hubs, and Warehouses to resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.

Inbound and Outbound operations are covered to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight. The candidate will pull data from multiple databases, perform ad hoc reporting, and develop performance metrics to improve results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
• Experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
• Pull data from databases (Excel, Access, SQL or similar) and perform ad hoc reporting/analysis.
• Develop and/or understand performance metrics to drive business results.
• Define business/functional requirements for Amazon technology teams who build TOC software/tools.
• Quickly assess data trends and make informed decisions.
• Escalate and route data variance to owners and ensure resolutions.
• Work within tight timelines to meet critical needs.
• Communicate findings clearly in reports and reviews.
• Support 24/7 real-time customer experience.
