Job summary

Dolby OptiView is hiring an Operational Support Engineer (L2) to own production incidents end-to-end across live video streaming, ads, and real‑time delivery platforms. You will work directly on production systems, coordinate with Support, Engineering, DevOps, and customers to restore service quickly and communicate clearly during outages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operational, support, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Own complex problems end-to-end with autonomy in a high-availability environment.
• Strong experience supporting production video streaming platforms and live systems.
• Familiarity with HLS, DASH, CMAF, WebRTC, DRM, and CDN architectures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of escalated customer issues from Level 1 Support and drive them to resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact production incidents affecting live streams, VOD playback, ad insertion, DRM, and real‑time WebRTC services.
• Operate directly on production environments, including configuration changes, CDN adjustments, and corrective actions, following established procedures.
• Lead or actively contribute to live incident bridges involving customers, internal teams, and partners.
• Provide clear, timely communication during incidents, including status updates and customer-facing explanations.
