Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an IT Systems Event Manager/Monitor Technician at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, supporting USCENTCOM CIT. You will monitor and manage critical IT services, coordinate incident responses, and provide status reports to stakeholders.

Requires DoD clearance, 8570 IAT-2, and strong leadership in a 24x7 environment. Responsibilities include incident handling, change coordination, and leveraging tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, SCOM, Nagios and Dynatrace.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• 8570 IAT-2 (Security+).
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years IT systems support, or HS with 5+ years.
• Experience troubleshooting servers (physical and virtual), SAN, software, firmware, and security.

Responsibilities

• Identify outages, escalate to appropriate agencies, and facilitate resolution.
• Monitor network health with SolarWinds, Splunk, SCOM, Nagios, and Dynatrace.
• Submit and manage incident tickets in ServiceNow.
• Prepare and deliver reports and briefs using MS Office, MAVEN, and SharePoint.
• Coordinate restoration of services and lead cross-disciplinary efforts.
