Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Technician to rapidly respond to infrastructure alerts and ensure continuous availability of critical systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

The role requires diagnosing incidents using SOPs, elevating to 2nd/3rd line teams, and collaborating across networking, server, storage, and database domains. Candidates should have 3+ years in IT operations and two areas of proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years in IT operations/NOC/command center.
• Proficient troubleshooting and maintenance of core IT infrastructure in at least two areas (networking, servers, storage, databases, Kubernetes).
• Certifications such as VMware, RHCE, CCNA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary responder for critical infrastructure alerts and incidents, executing rapid recovery procedures.
• Monitor and provide fast recovery of vital infrastructure services (databases, switches/routers, storage).
• Apply SOPs to troubleshoot alerts and escalate to 2nd line when needed.
• Lead coordination of immediate incident response with cross-functional teams (K8s, Network, Database, Server, Storage).
• Develop or review Standard Operating Procedures.
