Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an IT Operations professional to deliver a modern, efficient, and stable IT workplace for internal customers. You will collaborate with Fab Users, IT teams, and external service providers to ensure operational excellence, with on-call shifts including nights and holidays.

The ideal candidate communicates well, learns quickly, and adapts to rapid changes, bringing advanced troubleshooting and broad IT knowledge to support fab manufacturing and engineering analysis.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, information engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years IT experience in software engineering or similar IT roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C#, or other relevant languages.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction from relational databases.
• Comfort with on-call duties and fast-paced collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate technical expertise to resolve escalated issues and cases from L1 support, focusing on root causes and effective solutions for fab manufacturing automation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to swiftly resolve system incidents.
• Proactively identify product issues with DevOps to improve availability and stability, and train L1 members.
• Develop and maintain tools/scripts to improve issue resolution and recovery.
• Serve as Fab Users HQ DevOps liaison for system changes and discussions.
