Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center seeks security personnel to ensure a safe patient environment. Officers conduct safety rounds, respond to emergencies, manage incidents, and monitor access control and crowd safety around campus.

Role involves assisting with restraints when needed, document daily activities, and coordinate with crisis resources. Requires a high school diploma and CPI training readiness. On-site patrols with valid license and prior security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Must acquire key personal safety skills within 90 days of employment (i.e., handcuff, pepper spray, crisis intervention). Must have or be able to attend CPI training program.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Security/Safety rounds of the facility twice during shift. Documents findings, identifies and corrects discrepancies and hazards, and tests alarm systems.
• Assists in the management of aggressive/combative patients. Applies restraints per policy and monitors high-risk patients.
• Provides required documentation of security incidents and activity; produces clear, concise incident reports and daily logs.
• Facilitates use of emergency evacuation heliport and understands related policies.
• Acts as first responder for Hazardous Material emergencies and coordinates with outside resources as needed.
